A/P Representative

Job Description:

The job is working within the accounts payable department. It will require matching purchase orders, created by us, with invoices from vendors. Answering vendor inquires. Working with vendors and branch employees to resolve claims. Maintains accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files. Prepares analysis of accounts. Assists in monthly closing. Assists financial officers and branch personnel as necessary.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Basic clerical skills are needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred, use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required. Some accounts payable knowledge or background needed. Good phone skills. Knowledge of 10-key is preferred. Good organizational skills. Self starter. Decent communication skills in both verbal and written areas.
