Job Description:

CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE will contact and oversee Accounts Receivable for a select group of customers including past due accounts.  We collect through relationships with our customers, so Customer Service is #1.  You'll learn to discuss status of account and construction projects with customers and store personnel; determine credit worthiness and manage credit limits; oversee payment posting; monitor disputes; properly process bond and lien claims; communicate collection challenges and avoid possible legal exposure for the company.  Our Goal is to maintain account integrity and minimize past due amounts.  Credit Reps will monitor and report all situations not consistent with the daily operation of the company. 

Responsible for 10m+ monthly AR.  Education in accounting or finance, and experience in CUSTOMER SERVICE, ACCOUNTING, and CONSTRUCTION MGMT / PROCESS helpful.   Team training.  Nice people.  Excellent company.  Free coffee.  : )      

Qualifications:

SKILLS: Excellent communication, both written and verbal.  Professional position in Customer Service and/or CS Management; Collections / AR experience; Accounting / Finance experience; Construction knowledge.  Other required skills: Research, Excel, Word, Outlook, proven Leadership and Decision-Making ability. A Collection Specialist is persuasive, decisive, mature, professional and has an outgoing personality.  Coffee drinkers fit in nicely.
