ENT Conduit Fill Table for Non-Metallic Flexible, Corrugated Tubing
This conduit fill chart is used to determine how many wires can be safely put into ENT conduit tube. Each row going across is a different size of
ENT Conduit, also called Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing. Each column (going up and down) is a different gauge of wire, either AWG or MCM. The results show the allowable number of wires for each size/type of conduit and wire, based on the 2020 NEC® code for electrical conduit.

How did Smurf Tube Get Its Name?
ENT conduit tube is commonly called smurf tube because ENT conduit is often a blue color reminiscent of blue cartoon Smurf™ characters. Although smurf tube is
typically blue, ENT conduit also comes in other colors like red, orange, and yellow.
What is ENT Conduit?
ENT Conduit, also called Electrical NonMetallic Tubing or smurf tube, is a lightweight, corrugated, flexible tubing made of PVC plastic. Building electrical
wires may be routed inside ENT conduit to protect the wires. Because ENT conduit is made from PVC plastic, it can be used in wet environments where metal conduit would corrode.
The corrugated PVC makes ENT more flexible than other PVC conduit.
