Elliott Electric Supply - West Dallas is looking for candidates with a background in warehousing, retail, experience in a trade or college students/graduates to become the next leaders in the electrical parts wholesale industry. The Warehouse Supervisor will work directly with the Operations and Store Managers in managing warehouse processes, maintaining inventory, providing training and development to current team members and helping guide warehouse operations to meet sales growth and customer expectations. The Warehouse Supervisor supports the day to day operations of the Branch providing warehouse management according to the mission and culture while meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the Corporate management team.

Starting pay: $18/hr. depending on experience

Qualifications:

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license in state of residence with a minimum of three (3) years driving history. Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) with no type A violation; or no more than one (1) type B violation in the past three (3) years. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Certification of power-truck equipment. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices, etc.

Physical Requirements: Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
