Job Description:

* Promptly acknowledge and assist customers during the sales process in an effective and efficient manner that encourages return business

* Accurately conduct the sales transactions at the counter or by phone by appropriately entering the customer order in the computer system

* Maintain a working knowledge of the entire sales process from start to finish (including the formation of an order, picking of material, generating a purchase order and payment processes

* Assist in warehouse duties such as stocking and labeling shelves and inventory of goods, in a manner which assures an orderly and safe work environment

* Assist in maintaining the counter and product display area assuring a safe, clean, and well organized work environment

Qualifications:

Qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products beneficial.   Strong mathematical ability and basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer.   Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.  Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work well in a team environment.  Strong customer service orientation. This is a safety sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.
