Job Description:

Eaton Gear Specialist will support our local customer base by providing expert knowledge of Eaton Gear in various sectors of the electrical industry, from residential products (load centers/meters) to commercial construction equipment, such as panelboards, drives, disconnects and other primary power type applications in both the commercial and industrial sectors of our business. The Eaton Gear Specialist will work closely with our outside/ inside and counter sales teams to provide product knowledge that supports and equips our customers to service their everyday client needs.   This role combines technical product understanding with strong customer service and sales skills to suport contractors, electricians and our industrial clients by specifically offering Eaton gear related products to support our customer base. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide product knowledge and support to our Elliott Electric team members and customers by providing recommendations for Eaton Gear related solutions equipment

2. Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with quotes and technical support

3. Support local store management with internal Eaton Gear training and product support recommendations throughout the central Arkansas Area of operations

4. Work as a central contact point for our local Eaton field services team and create coordinated planning sessions to help facilitate sales training and planning for Eaton gear market growth

Qualifications:

3+ years of working experience in selling or quoting Eaton Gear required; Working knowledge of electrical components such as breakers, panels, transformers, drives and switchboards; Extensive knowledge of electrical industry; Experience in quoting gear related projects; strong understanding of the Fundamentals of Electricity; Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe); Mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately and quickly; Organizational and time management skills; and oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to frequently bend, lift and climb. The ability to work in a constant state of alert and safe manner.
